Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the relationship between the operator of DoYouWantDate (the "Service"), Kis Richárd E.V. (the "Operator"), and users of the Service ("User"). By using the Service, the User agrees to these Terms.
Description of the Service
The Service lets a User create a unique, shareable link where a person of their choosing can decide whether to accept a date invitation. The Service is available in a Free and a Premium plan, with the features described on the site. The Service also includes Virtual Marriage, described in its own section below.
Age requirement
To use the Service, the User must be at least 16 years old. If the User is younger, using the Service requires the consent of a parent or legal guardian. The Operator does not knowingly collect data from users under 16 without such consent.
Pricing
The Premium plan is a one-time fee per invite, always shown at its current price at the moment of creating the invite. The Operator reserves the right to change prices or any discounts at any time; this does not retroactively affect invites already paid for. Virtual Marriage has its own one-time fees, set out in the Virtual Marriage section.
Virtual Marriage
Alongside the invite, the Service offers Virtual Marriage: the User builds an online ceremony in ten scenes which the other person opens on their own device. It is a playful affirmation of love with no legal force. It creates no marriage, no registered partnership and no legal relationship of any kind, it is not recorded with any authority, and the certificate it produces has no legal effect; the certificate itself carries this statement. Building the ceremony and previewing it are free of charge. The ceremony link, which is what makes it reachable by the other person, is released only after payment. What is kept afterwards is covered by two optional fees paid once, Unlock and Premium, always shown at their current price at the moment of purchase: the certificate without a watermark, a file ready for print, a wedding page that does not expire, the guest book, the anniversary reminders, and with Premium the three premium themes and the vertical video export. Either partner may pay and the purchase unlocks it for both; should both pay for the same thing, the Operator automatically refunds the payment that bought nothing. The wedding page and the certificate belong to the purchase and are kept for as long as the Service exists. The sections below on payment, limitation of liability, deletion and governing law apply to Virtual Marriage exactly as they do to invites.
Registration and account
Some features require registration. The User must provide a real email address and is responsible for keeping their account credentials secure. The Operator reserves the right to suspend accounts used abusively.
Payment and billing
The Premium fee is processed through the Stripe payment provider. An invite only becomes Premium and reachable by the invited person after payment is confirmed. Refund requests are handled by the Operator on a case-by-case basis via the contact details below, noting that fulfillment of the Service typically begins immediately upon payment.
Newsletter
By completing the purchase of a paid plan, the buyer's email address is added to the Operator's newsletter list (in the Brevo system), on which the Operator sends news and offers about its own services. The buyer can decline this before payment, using the checkbox under the payment form, or later unsubscribe with one click at the bottom of any newsletter. Being added to or unsubscribing from the newsletter does not affect the purchased service or its use. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is". The Operator is not responsible for the invited person's response, the content of communication between parties, or damages arising from temporary unavailability of the Service.
Account and data deletion
Users may delete their own invites and account at any time via the dashboard, or by request to the Operator's contact details. Deletion permanently removes all related data (responses, payment records).
Governing law
These Terms are governed by Hungarian law. The parties will first attempt to resolve any disputes arising from these Terms amicably.
